In this talk, prof. Thomas Cauvin and Dr. Myriam Dalal present the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH), its public history and outreach (PHO) research group, and the work that has been produced within the project Public History as a New Citizen Science of the Past (PHACS) managed by its principal investigator Cauvin since 2020.

Cauvin and Dalal also discuss with Dr. Mina Ibrahim from Shubra’s Archive, the new international perspective taken by the PHACS project during this coming year, specifically the partnership with Shubra’s archive to explore and learn how public history and community archiving practices are undertaken in Egypt and the Cairo/Shubra context.

Recorded on Zoom on 3 June 2025.
