The HISTOFEST. History on Full Blast festival co-hosts roundtable at the XXII Festival Internazionale della Storia in Gorizia, Italy: Behind the Scenes of Festival-Making: European Perspectives.
The representatives of four European history festivals will meet in Gorizia on 29 May 2026 to discuss the opportunities and challenges that such festivals entail, while at the same time providing the audience with a unique opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of festival-making.
The initiator of the Histofest Dora Komnenovic shares experiences with Adriano Ossola, Artistic Director of the èStoria festival in Gorizia, Brendan Teeling, Director of the Dublin Festival of History, and Pierre Matheron, Education Officer at the Rendez-vous de l’histoire festival in Blois.
