The Institute for Advanced Studies of the University of Luxembourg has joined the UBIAS network (University-Based Institutes for Advanced Study) on 1 July!

The UBIAS institutes bring together outstanding researchers from different disciplines, nationalities, and academic backgrounds, creating a productive environment for innovative research.

The network, that currently comprises 46 member institutes, was established to enable structured forms of exchange in this growing segment, including biennial conferences and joint programmes between partner institutes.

By joining the UBIAS network, the IAS-Luxembourg will not only develop its activities with the universities involved and the associated IAS but will also be able to expand its future activities, such as in the COFUND MSCA Young International Academics programme.

The next Board of Directors meeting will be held in Nagoya (Japan) at the beginning of November, so stay tuned for updates on the fruitful discussions and future collaborations.
