The University of Luxembourg is launching a brand new Mentoring Programme called ADVANCE. This programme is all about supporting the career development of researchers and promoting gender equality.

On International Women’s Day, March 8th, from 12:30 to 14:00 at the Belval Campus (Halle des Poches à Fonte), we’re kicking off this programme in style. Mentoring is all about a mutual learning relationship and is a great way to support academic careers, especially for women and early career researchers. The Mentoring Programme will have plenty of activities to help young academics explore their career options and plan their future actions.

As the Rector said, people are the biggest asset of the university, and the ADVANCE Mentoring Programme is going to provide an extra support system for all of our researchers. This will help strengthen our environment and make the research profession even more attractive, while meeting the diverse needs of our community.

Mentoring is the new cool! We’ll be sharing more information about the programme and the event in the coming weeks.
