    Riccardo Rao, former doctoral candidate at the University of Luxembourg, received the 2019 FNR Award in the category Outstanding PhD Thesis for his project entitled “Conservation Laws in Nonequilibrium Thermnodynamics: Stochastic Processes, Chemical Reaction Networks, and Information Processing.”
