    Manufacturing engineering team develops VSM standard at ISO level

    In the course of the FNR-funded Public-Private Partnership (PPP) research project « StreaM », carried out by the University of Luxembourg in close cooperation with the industrial partner EURO‑COMPOSITES S.A. and the Luxembourgish Institute of Standardization, Accreditation, Safety and Quality of Products and Services (ILNAS), the partners have made significant progress towards an ISO standard with regard to Value Stream Management (VSM).

    European Project WOW!: sewage is valuable

    The Interreg North-West Europe project WOW! – Wider business Opportunities for raw materials from Waste water – was recently launched with 12 partners from 6 countries, including the University of Luxembourg. WOW! aims to make the transition to a more circular approach by matching supply and demand of cellulose, lipids and bioplastics (PHA) from sewage.
