Applications are now open for the Guillaume Dupaix International Scholarship and the Guardian Glass Scholarship, which aim to attract talented and deserving international students willing to pursue specific Master programmes at the University of Luxembourg. Deadline for application is 24 April 2023.
Financial support
Both scholarships contribute towards meeting the selected students’ expenses while studying and living in Luxembourg and foresee a yearly stipend amount to that effect. The Guillaume Dupaix International Scholarship, a joint initiative of the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, offers a generous financial support of €5,146 per semester for a maximum of two years and includes free accommodation in a university residence for the duration of the Master programme.
Similar funding opportunity is also provided by the Guardian Glass Scholarship: a stipend amounting to €5,000 is paid at the beginning of each winter semester, followed by a second instalment of €5,000 at the beginning of each summer semester per academic year, for a maximum of two years.
The scholarships do not include tuition fees and are non-cumulable, meaning candidates cannot apply for both scholarships at the same time.
Eligibility criteria
International applicants from both EU and non-EU countries are eligible to apply. Candidates should be able to demonstrate high academic achievement and, in case of the Guardian Glass Scholarship, should be able to show civic engagement, volunteer work or participation in other extracurricular activities.

For the Guardian Glass Scholarship:
