In the frame of the course “Software Engineering Project”, second-year students from the Bachelor in Applied Information Technology have developed applications for Esch 2022. Most of them developed a mobile app, but also games.
“During this course, students are gathered in groups and have to develop a concrete idea for a project in a given context. They have to build an application from scratch following a common software development methodology – so an example of problem-based learning” explains Prof. Volker Müller, study director of the Bachelor in Applied Information Technology.
This year, the theme “Esch2022 – European Capital of Culture” was proposed to the students. In total, 8 groups of 5 students participated in the course. To explain their project and present their product, some groups created a video.
