Representatives from the University of Luxembourg participated in the first conference on Medical Specialists’ Training in Europe organised by the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) on 20 April 2023 in Brussels.
The European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) is conducting a study on the implementation of the European training requirements (ETRs) in the UEMS member countries. Information from the preliminary evaluation of this survey has been shared at the conference. One of the most challenging parts among all member countries is to implement the soft skills in medical education and how to evaluate the competences of our medical doctors in training.
