Lecture given by Gilles Delalex as part of the lecture spring cycle THIS WILL FEED THAT organised by the LUCA Luxembourg Center for Architecture in collaboration the Master in Architecture

Founded in 2003 MUOTO was rewarded by several prizes, such as Holcim Awards, Equerre d’Argent, Bauwelt. Muoto’s work often features minimal structures made of rough materials, as a means to combine different activities, and merge economical as well as aesthetic issues. Vertical diversity as an articulation between building and city scales is a recurrent figure in Muoto’s projects.

The Public condenser Campus Paris-Saclay is a shared public facility, hosting a mix of indoor and outdoor activities and encouraging the encounter of various populations living close to one another, but rarely meeting.

In its international series LUCA LECTURES successfully running since 1995, LUCA Luxembourg Center for Architecture organises a cycle of four international lectures entitled THIS WILL FEED THAT, in collaboration with the Master in Architecture of the University of Luxembourg. From February to May 2019, this cycle focuses on architecture’s impact on the urban tissue and development and presents a few purposefully chosen projects. Each of the four planned lectures is devoted to one architect and one project.

The lecture is given in English, free entrance, registration here
