Dr. Weibing Wang is the chair and a professor in the Department of Epidemiology, Fudan University, China. His research interest focus on the transmission of infectious diseases including COVID-19, and impact of vaccination program. He completed his postdoctoral training in Georgetown University, and visiting fellowship in Public Health Research Center (US) and the UCLA, respectively. He has been the PIs of several WHO project, tow Gates Foundation grants, NIH R01 grants, and grants from Chinese National Science and Technology Major Project and Nature Science Foundation; some of them aim to determine the transmission of infectious pathogens in population of major infectious diseases including COVID-19 and tuberculosis. Currently he is the co-leader of National Field Epidemiology Association under the National Public Health Association.

Dr. Yihan Lu is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology at Fudan University School of Public Health and Fudan Global Health Institute, and Vice Chair of Department of Epidemiology in the School of Public Health. He graduated with a PhD of Epidemiology and Health Statistics at Fudan University in China (2009) and completed the postdoctoral program at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in the USA (2012). During 2016-2017, Dr. Lu was a fellow of Afya Bora Fellowship in Global Health Leadership with the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington and Kenyatta National Hospital at the University of Nairobi. His research interests cover molecular epidemiology, zoonosis, phylogenetics and phylodynamics, vaccine and vaccination of viruses. So far, he has had several grants from National Natural Science Foundation of China and National Science and Technology Major Project of China.
