Economists: What economic complications following the COVID-19 pandemic? What are the strategies / steps for crisis management together?

In this second session, we will tackle with a more multidisciplinary theme focusing on the economic consequences of the pandemic in general, and public health measures decided by our governments in particular. We are very pleased to inform you that our rector Prof. Dr Stephane Pallage and the vice-president of the Fudan University Prof. Chen Zhimin will give us a welcome talk to kick-off the webinar.
Then, Prof. WAN Guanghua will project China’s growth in 2020 and discuss the growth prospects of the Chinese and global economy after the pandemic. He will also outline concerns regarding the post-crisis global order. The presentation will be followed by discussions of Professor DING Chun who will focus on Sino-EU collaboration in fighting the pandemic and possible economic recession.
