And we thought IV is the result of a collaboration between visual artist her and Roberto Fassone, an artificial intelligence capable of narrating the stories of Ai Lai “trips” made under the influence of magic mushrooms.
The exhibition features a series of ten posters showing quotes from Ai Lai’s trips, and a video created by Fassone based on three films by LZ — a fictional collective of video artists often mentioned in Ai Lai’s trip reports.
And we thought IV is part of Food Data Digestion, a research project led by Sineglossa in which alternative methods of machine learning are used to explore creativity and consciousness in humans and machines.
And we thought IV is curated by Vincent Crapon and presented on the occasion of Nuit de la Culture 2023.
