This online event is organised in the framework of the Sustainable Finance Chair, which is supported by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development.
The event will feature presentations from academic researchers in the field, as well as two panel discussions with industry practitioners to give insights into the most debated topics and provide answers and guidance for the future action. One part focusses on a microeconomic perspective of sustainable investments and corporate finance and the critical role of the financial services industry (banks, investment funds, auditors, rating agencies etc.) in financing and monitoring sustainable investments. The second part will look from macroeconomic view featuring topics such as remedying externalities, and the consequences on the allocation of capital, the stability of the financial system and prudent regulation.
