TRENDS IN THE HUMANITIES – POSTHUMANISM AND PRAXEOLOGICAL SELF-REFLEXION: Between Distant and Close reading: Digital Humanities as an Art of Scalable Reading?

The lecture series is designed as an opportunity to explore the role of our disciplines in society, beyond the specific fields and projects that we are immersed into in our everyday research. It aims to exhibit and to foster a competence that is central to the development of the Humanities: to think beyond one’s own discipline and to aim at grasping the ‘bigger picture’.
