EU external relations law evolved rapidly over the last few years. The book Constitutional Issues of EU External Relations Law (Nomos, 2018), edited by Eleftheria Neframi and Mauro Gatti, explores recent developments in the field of the EU’s external action, from the perspective of the constitutional foundations of the Union.
The present workshop offers an opportunity to revisit the main themes of the book. Four round tables, bringing together academics and practitioners, will assess the impact of the recent practice on governance, legitimacy, autonomy, and sovereignty in EU foreign affairs.
