FNR LECTURE SERIES IN EUROPEAN AND COMPARATIVE LABOUR LAW
“The Effectiveness of the European Social Model”

In the FNR Lecture Series The Effectiveness of the European Social Model the invited lecturers consider ways to update and enrich the legal foundations of social Europe.
Particular emphasis will be placed on:
(I) The challenges deriving from the interinstitutional declaration on the EU Pillar of Social Rights and the revamp of employment policies
(II) The effectiveness of individual labour rights in the process of European integration and their difficult balance with economic freedoms
(III) The efficacy of individual and collective remedies in the field of labour law, in the light of the relevant principles of EU law.
