Outstanding graduates honoured

During the 2019 graduation ceremony, seven Master graduates were honoured for their outstanding academic achievements. The Germain Dondelinger award was bestowed upon European Governance graduate Arnaud Van Laere. Awarded by the « Amis de l’Université » since 2015, the Germain Dondelinger Award honours the Faculty’s best Master’s thesis.

For the last decade, borders in Europe have been back on the political agenda. Border research has reacted to that and is forging new ways of thinking and analysing borders. The book release (2020) is following up this development and promotes a perspective that focuses on the everyday experience of borders.
