The conference provides an opportunity to emerging researchers (advanced master students, Ph.D. students and researchers within five years of completing a Ph.D.) to present their work (presentation or poster) on educational research in a collegial and friendly atmosphere and serves as a forum stimulating exchange and cooperation within the field of education and related fields, such as inclusive education, multilingualism, lifelong learning, history of education, sociology of education and beyond.
The Luxembourgish Educational Research Association (LuxERA), established in 2018, is a forum for dialogue and a network for the support and encouragement of established and emerging researchers and for the development of science policy and scientific exchange in the field of educational research in Luxembourg, Europe, and worldwide.
If you have an article, dissertation chapter, or poster you are working on and feel it would benefit from comments by your peers, LuxERA members and other researchers – please consider applying.
Send abstracts of no more than 300 words including 3 – 5 keywords, theoretical background, research question, methodology and (expected) outcomes until 15 July to luxera.erc2019[@]uni.lu. Decisions on acceptance and thematic sessions can be expected by 31 August 2019.
PhD students of the Doctoral School of Human and Social Sciences, University of Luxembourg, have the opportunity to gain 1 ECTS credit (disciplinary) for their conference (poster) presentation.
