The Institute for Research on Multilingualism is pleased to announce that Timea Pickel, postdoctoral researcher, received the 2018 Koch Award from the Chapitre de Saint-Thomas (Strasbourg) for her outstanding doctoral thesis entitled « The integration of newcomer students into the French education system. Languages, social representations and identities in context. »
Named after the renowned Alsatian scholar and politician Christophe-Guillaume Koch (1737-1813) from the Chapitre de Saint-Thomas in Strasbourg, the award aims to support quality academic work related to humanist principles and the life of the city. Read the full announcement (in French) here.
