This semester, our lecture series on migration continues with the addresses of 4 renown international migration experts! 

We are proud to welcome:

  • Prof. Patricia Cortes from Boston University on March 10 on the topic of “immigration and females’ labor supply”,
  • Prof. Michael Siegenthaler from ETH Zurich on April 28 on the topic of “Impact of commuting flows & labor market discrimations”,
  • Prof. Clément Imbert from Warwick University on May 19 on the topic of “Migration and Firms”, and
  • Prof. Dany Bahar from Brown University on June 16 on the topic of “migration, innovation and technology diffusion”.

Each speaker will provide a state-of-the-art analysis of existing methodologies and academic findings in his field of expertise.

 

During the 1st part of this lecture that was held last semester, we have been lucky to welcome:

  • Prof. Tommaso Frattini from University of Milan (see an insight of his presentation here),
  • Prof. Catia Batista from Nova Lisbon (see an insight of her presentation here), and
  • Prof Joan Monras from Université de la Polynésie française (UPF), CREI – Centre de Recerca en Economia Internacional and Barcelona School of Economics (see an insight of his presentation here).

 

This lecture series is organised by LISER & University of Luxembourg, in the framework of 2 Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR) funded projects: ACROSS and MINLAB.
