This 4th workshop in development economics aims to consolidate economic analyses on the various aspects of resilience of African economies in the face of crises (political, security, health…) and policies for resource mobilization by States. A diversity of approaches (theoretical and/or empirical, quantitative and/or qualitative) is welcome. The scope of the workshop includes the following themes:
• Resilience of African economies to crises (political, security, health…)
• Mobilization of internal fiscal resources, choice of fiscal instruments, untapped fiscal sources
• Public finances
• Sectoral public policies in the face of crises: education, social or financial inclusion, health, gender, security, etc.
We encourage the submission of complete articles, even if it is a first draft, based on methods from economics or other social sciences. Selection criteria will be rigorous with respect to methodological soundness, article’s specific contribution in terms of the existing literature and accordance with the themes of the workshop.

- 30 December 2022: Deadline for reception of proposed contributions.
- 20 January 2023: Scientific Committee’s decisions upon selection of contributions.
- 15 February 2023: Deadline for registration and sending papers.
- 23 & 24 March 2023: Workshop in Cotonou.
