Innovation is the key to unlocking this path, but the road can be perilous; as far too many have experienced for themselves. Dr Carlo Duprel, the Head of the Technology Transfer Office of SnT, recently spoke with Paperjam about how he sees the secret to success as the mindset of the company.<\/p>

SnT\u2019s Partnership Programme<\/a> approach is built on trust and a combined commitment to achieving the objectives. For that reason, Dr Duprel clarified, long-term collaborations provide the most interesting results. In the interview he goes into detail about the way that partnerships work, from the structure of research projects to the funding opportunities available. But Industry and academia working together is about more than just innovation. \u201cAs certain skill sets rise in demand, our partnership structure opens doors for HR departments, not just R&D teams,\u201d said Dr Duprel. He then wrapped up the interview by considering the way a company embraces innovation, explaining that \u201ctechnology is not just a tool; your company is centred on it.\u201d<\/p>
