The SVV research group is continuously looking for research associates (Post-Doc level) and PhD candidates. The group, headed by Prof. Domenico Bianculli, performs world-class research driven by industry needs.
At SVV, new technologies are developed towards reliable, safe, and secure software systems, with a broad spectrum of applications ranging from upstream activities such as assessing the quality of textual requirement to downstream verification & validation activities focusing on software testing and analysis.

Tasks of the successful candidate include: to collaborate with other researchers on managing and contributing to diverse national and international projects, coordinate with industry partners, develop innovative solutions and publish research findings at top venues.
The applicant is expected to have a scientific university degree (PhD for research associates and Masters degree for PhD candidates) in computer science, software engineering or a similar field.
In addition, very good English level is required. Ideally, you should bring in-depth knowledge in one or more of the following topics:
- Software Testing
- Requirements Engineering
- Model-driven Engineering
- Automated Verification and Validation
- AI (Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing) for Software Engineering
