Prof. Helle Strandgaard Jensen<\/strong> is an Associate Professor of contemporary cultural history at the Department of History and Classical Studies, Aarhus University, Denmark. She also holds a joint directorship at the Center for Digital History Aarhus (CEDHAR). Jensen’s work focuses on the contemporary history of mass media, childhood, and digitisation in Scandinavia, Western Europe, and the US after 1945. She combines historical methods with theoretical approaches from cultural studies and media studies. The other investigates how digital media and, in particular, digital archives and digitised sources influence the discipline of history. Prof. Jensen is a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute for Advanced Studies since October 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Giovanni Galizia<\/strong> is Professor for Neuroscience and Director of the Zukunftskolleg, an Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of Konstanz, Germany. In his research, he studies how odors are processed and encoded in the brains of insects, notably honeybees. Following a recent observation that the bee brain is also active during sleep, he is now developing a research agenda to answer a maybe philosophical questions: do honeybees dream? Prof. Galizia is a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute for Advanced Studies since October 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Alan P. Kirman<\/strong> is a British and French economist, university professor and director of studies at the \u201c\u00c9cole des Hautes \u00c9tudes en Sciences Sociales<\/em>\u201d. At the frontiers of economic analysis, Alan Kirman is interested in the actual functioning of markets and the actual behavior of market participants. Once the interaction between agents is considered, the relationships between individual actions and global phenomena become complex. Prof. Kirman is a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute for Advanced Studies since October 2020.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Ralph Hertwig<\/strong> is a German psychologist whose work focuses on the psychology of human judgment and decision making. Prof. Hertwig has been a key contributor to the study of bounded rationality, or how people search for information and make decisions with limited resources. He is Director of the Center for Adaptive Rationality at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin, Germany.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
