We are organizing a workshop on Critical Thinking<\/strong> for new Doctoral Candidates of our Doctoral School in Science and Engineering<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believe it is essential for research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It allows for rigorous examination of information, identification of biases, and distinction between facts and opinions. Critical thinking helps in formulating relevant questions, designing experiments, and finding innovative solutions to research problems. It is crucial for assessing the credibility and reliability of information sources, which is fundamental for building a solid knowledge base. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, it enables the development of logical and coherent arguments, defending ideas, and responding to critiques constructively. By challenging preconceived notions and exploring different perspectives, critical thinking stimulates creativity and innovation in research. Finally, it aids in making ethical decisions by considering the implications and consequences of research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
