The University of Luxembourg considers sustainable development to be a key issue and will contribute significantly to it in the coming years.

Initiatives

  • The University will fully implement the two recently created interdisciplinary research centres: the Luxembourg Centre for European Law and the Luxembourg Centre for Socio-Environmental Systems
  • Efforts in the field of education sciences are essential for a sustainable society and will remain at the heart of its concerns, both through the development of its initial teacher training and through the pursuit of research in education, particularly on new digital and data-based aspects.
  • Collaboration with the Luxembourg financial sector will be strengthened through the implementation of new agreements signed in 2025 between the University of Luxembourg, the Ministry of Finance and key players in the financial sector.
  • Engagement with European institutions and the EU will be strengthened, particularly through continuing education.
