The Research Area of Public and Tax Law engages with questions arising from the exercise of public authority, in particular in respect of transnational situations and normative interactions, which has grown out of a strong focus laid by the Law Department on the study of European Union law. Colleagues affiliated with the Research Area of Public and Tax Law are leading academics in fields ranging from EU and international economic law, European administrative law and fundamental rights to international humanitarian law and taxation law.
