In addition to the grant, the students will have the opportunity to participate in an internship programme at A&O Shearman office in Luxembourg. Moreover, scholarship recipients will benefit from additional mentoring and soft-skills development provided by A&O Shearman, such as CV writing and job market advice, participation in networking events, and invitations to industry conferences and seminars.

Eligibility criteria
- Incoming or Outgoing exchange students at or from the Bachelor en Droit (Bachelor in Law) in the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance
- Incoming students must commit to a complete year at the University of Luxembourg (an internship is not possible without being enrolled at the University of Luxembourg and participating in courses).
- Incoming students are committed to taking the required credits and law-related studies in the Bachelor in Law, respectively Master at the University of Luxembourg.
- Exchange students at or from Bachelor in Law, respectively Master in Law at or from the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance.
- Residing, or will reside, in Luxembourg or the Greater Region of Luxembourg.
- The family income of the applicants may not exceed the threshold communicated in the call for application.

Application procedure
Applicants must submit the following documents (in English, French or German) with their application in the listed sequence as one complete PDF file:
- Consent form (provided by e-mail for incoming students / via Moodle for outgoing students)
- Letter of motivation
- CV
- Copies of diplomas, certificates and any official supplement to these (if in a language other than English, French or German, they must not be translated at this point)
- Proof of their income or their parents’/persons’ income with parental authority, which must be supported by a copy of their tax return from the previous tax/financial year
- Their civil status
- For outgoing exchange students: proof of residence in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg or in the Greater Region of Luxembourg – For incoming exchange students: letter of acceptance at the University of Luxembourg
- For outgoing exchange students: a certificate of enrolment at the University of Luxembourg.
- For incoming exchange students: a letter of acceptance at the University of Luxembourg is sufficient at this point (a certificate of enrolment is necessary at a later time)
