>\nMathematik<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Scienteens Lab bietet f\u00fcnf verschiedene Mathematik-Kurse f\u00fcr Sekundarschulklassen an. Sie befassen sich mit Themen wie Graphentheorie, Wahrscheinlichkeiten, Kryptographie, Klassifizierung und Modellierung. Die meisten dieser Kurse sind f\u00fcr Sch\u00fclerInnen zwischen 16 und 19 Jahren gedacht. Sie finden auf dem Campus Belval unter der Aufsicht des Teams des Scienteens Lab statt. Jeder Kurs wird in der untenstehenden Tabelle beschrieben. Durch praktische \u00dcbungen und Experimente, die die Sch\u00fcler selbst ausf\u00fchren k\u00f6nnen, bekommen sie ein besseres Gef\u00fchl f\u00fcr das Rechnen mit Wahrscheinlichkeiten vermittelt. In der Biologie zum Beispiel werden Organismen auf der Grundlage gemeinsamer Merkmale und evolution\u00e4rer Beziehungen klassifiziert. In der Mathematik geschieht genau dasselbe, und viele Mathematiker besch\u00e4ftigen sich mit der Klassifizierung von mathematischen Objekten.<\/p>\n\n<p>Dieser Workshop f\u00fchrt in das Konzept der Klassifizierung ein und veranschaulicht seine Bedeutung in Wissenschaft und Mathematik. Der Kurs besteht aus zwei Teilen.<\/p>\n\n<p>Im ersten Teil lernen die Sch\u00fclerInnen ein lineares Optimierungsproblem zu formulieren und ein Problem mit zwei Variablen grafisch zu l\u00f6sen. Anschlie\u00dfend lernen sie den Simplex-Algorithmus kennen, der bei mehr als zwei Variablen verwendet werden kann.<\/p>\n\n<p>Der zweite Teil befasst sich mit der Modellierung von Wachstumsprozessen, insbesondere mit dem SIR-Modell, das zur Modellierung der Ausbreitung einer Epidemie in einer gegebenen Population verwendet wird.<\/p>\n\n<p>Der Kurs beinhaltet unter anderem:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"ulux-list\">\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Beispiele von linearen Optimierungsproblemen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Grafische L\u00f6sung eines Problems mit zwei Variablen (mit GeoGebra)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Den Simplex-Algorithmus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Lineares, exponentielles und logistisches Wachstum<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">Das SIR-Modell und seine Umsetzung in GeoGebra<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Der Kurs eignet sich f\u00fcr Sch\u00fclerInnen ab der 3e Klasse.<br>Er kann entweder als Ganztagskurs (6,5 Stunden) oder als Halbtagskurs (3-4 Stunden) angeboten werden.<br>Bei der halbt\u00e4gigen Version des Kurses muss die Klasse zwischen den beiden Teilen (d.h. Kurse 4 kann nur als Halbtageskurs angeboten werden.<\/p>\n\n<p>Der Tageskurs dauert von 9:00 bis 15:30 Uhr, einschlie\u00dflich einer einst\u00fcndigen Mittagspause, in welcher die Sch\u00fcler in einem der Restaurants auf dem Campus Belval oder in der Universit\u00e4tskantine essen k\u00f6nnen.
