        \n\u00c0 propos de l’\u00e9tude OHVD<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        L’hypotension orthostatique (OH) est une baisse anormale de la pression art\u00e9rielle lors du passage de la position couch\u00e9e \u00e0 la position assise ou debout. Cette chute de tension peut provoquer des vertiges et augmenter le risque de chutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Des travaux de recherche r\u00e9cents indiquent qu’un dysfonctionnement vestibulaire (VD), c’est-\u00e0-dire une perturbation du sens de l’\u00e9quilibre, pourrait entra\u00eener cette hypotension orthostatique. Les \u00e9tudes sur le sujet sont rares et des recherches suppl\u00e9mentaires sont donc n\u00e9cessaires pour \u00e9valuer la fr\u00e9quence de l’hypotension orthostatique chez les personnes affect\u00e9es par des troubles vestibulaires ainsi que son impact clinique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Dans le cadre de l\u2019\u00e9tude OHVD, nous utilisons un petit appareil portable qui mesure la pression art\u00e9rielle, la fr\u00e9quence cardiaque et la position du corps en temps r\u00e9el. Il permet de suivre ces diff\u00e9rents param\u00e8tres pendant que les participants testent leur sens de l’\u00e9quilibre. Nous pouvons ainsi \u00e9tudier les variations de la pression art\u00e9rielle et de la fr\u00e9quence cardiaque selon la position du corps et les mouvements effectu\u00e9s, et d\u00e9tecter d’\u00e9ventuelles hypotensions orthostatiques.
