        \nAbout<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        We are looking for people with Parkinson\u2019s disease (PD) to join our REPHLECS PD study to help with a condition called orthostatic hypotension (OH). OH happens when your blood pressure drops when you stand up, which can make you feel dizzy or cause you to fall. This is a common problem for people with PD, but it often goes unnoticed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        In this study, we\u2019re testing easy-to-wear devices (like a watch or sensor) that can track your heart and blood pressure. The goal is to see if these devices can help doctors better understand and manage OH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        This study will be conducted both in-person at the clinic, and at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        We\u2019re looking for people based in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, to join our study, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        1. 20 healthy adults without Parkinson\u2019s<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. 20 people with Parkinson\u2019s who sometimes feel dizzy or lightheaded when standing, since this could be due to orthostatic hypotension<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. 20 people with Parkinson\u2019s who don\u2019t have symptoms of orthostatic hypotension<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Your participation will help us:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          •  Find better ways to detect orthostatic hypotension (OH) early on, allowing for improved management of the condition. By doing so, we can reduce the risk of falls caused by dizziness and help people feel safer in their daily lives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Test wearable devices that track your heart rate, blood pressure and body position to continuous monitoring your parameters also during your daily life  <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Understand how your body reacts when you stand up, for example when you stand up from bed or from a chair<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Improve technology that could help doctors recognize OH more easily in the future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
