        \nWhat is OHVD?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        The OHVD study aims to better understand the link between vestibular dysfunction and orthostatic hypotension (OH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        OH occurs when your blood pressure drops significantly upon standing, which can cause dizziness or increase the risk of falls. Current assessments often view OH as a consequence of vestibular issues, but this study seeks to investigate whether vestibular dysfunction itself can lead to OH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        In this study, we\u2019re using a small, easy-to-wear device that tracks your blood pressure, heart rate, and body position in real time. By collecting this data during specific vestibular tests, we aim to improve the early detection and management of OH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        We are looking for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          \n
        1. 53 adults with no vestibular symptoms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. 53 adults with confirmed vestibular dysfunction .<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Your participation will help us:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          • Detect orthostatic hypotension earlier and better understand its link to vestibular dysfunction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Reduce the risk of falls caused by dizziness and improve safety in daily activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Test wearable devices that continuously monitor cardiovascular and positional data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
