wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>We apply a systems biology approach to study microbial populations in great detail. We are especially interested in the gut microbiome, exploring the human-microbe interactions to provide insights into diseases such as colorectal cancer and Parkinson\u2019s. We also study lipid accumulating bacteria found in wastewater to understand at a fundamental level the functioning of microbial ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-quick-link-underline\">\n    \n<li class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-quick-link-underline-item\">\n    <a\n
