fade hidden is-hidden\"\n>\n    \n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-wrapper \">\n        \n<p>Hilmi Jaufer Thameemul Ansari graduated with a Master in Biotechnology from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi, India. His passion for immunology and neuroscience grew steadily over his studies, culminating in his master\u2019s thesis at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore, India, where he examined microglial responses following a systemic viral infection in C57BL\/6 mice. In pursuit of intense research training, Hilmi joined the Centre for Neuroscience, CUSAT, where he mechanistically explored the role of neuromodulators in enhancing memory and learning in <em>Caenorhabditis elegans<\/em> in an industrial project. While at CUSAT, he additionally studied the role of ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF) in adult neurogenesis. In February 2023, Hilmi embarked on his doctoral journey by joining the Neuroinflammation group at the LCSB.
