Its vision, focused on the patient and on advanced technologies, has already led to improved care and quality of life for Parkinson\u2019s disease patients in Luxembourg. Furthermore, there is great hope for the unique multidisciplinary approach of the LCSB, which will very likely lead to improved diagnosis and worldwide patient therapies, in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this donation, the Foyer Group reinforces its societal responsibility and hopes to help Professor Dr Gr\u00fcnewald and her team in their \u201cParkin\u201d protein study that could play a crucial role in the Parkinson\u2019s development. These researchers will be able to deepen their knowledge on the sporadic form of Parkinson\u2019s disease, which represents 90% of cases, and to follow up on their already promising discoveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em>The work done by Professor Gr\u00fcnewald and her team on Parkinson\u2019s disease is astounding. I must say that this very promising research project has awakened our enthusiasm, that\u2019s why we wished to support it with this donation.
