At this meeting, the association announced a generous donation of 5,000 \u20ac to the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB).<br>The funds for this donation were raised through the sale of books, which totalled an impressive 50,500 \u20ac in 2023. The L\u00ebtzebuerger Bicherfr\u00ebnn carefully distributes these proceeds to support various non-profit organisations throughout the country, with the LCSB being one of the fortunate recipients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bicherfrenn.lu\">L\u00ebtzebuerger Bicherfr\u00ebnn &#8211; Les Amis du Livre a.s.b.l.<\/a> receives donations of books in various languages and categories, which are then sorted, checked and sold by volunteers. Their mission is to sell these used books and to donate the proceeds to charitable and cultural causes.
