However, research can help to understand their complexity by studying genetics and other risk factors. The rapid development of new technologies will enable researchers to develop personalised treatments, as well as new prevention strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lecture will be in German, however, simultaneous translation into English will be available upon request via the registration form before 15 October 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"about-the-speaker\"\n    >\nAbout the speaker<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/lcsb-en\/people\/rejko-kruger\/\">Prof. Dr Rejko Kr\u00fcger<\/a>&nbsp;is professor in Neurosciences and principal investigator of the  \u00ab&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/lcsb-en\/research-groups\/translational-neuroscience\/\">Translational Neuroscience<\/a>&nbsp;\u00bb group at theLuxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine of the University of Luxembourg.
