Das neue permanente Kunstwerks wird am Eingang seines Biotech2-Geb\u00e4udes auf dem Campus Belval installiert. Der Wettbewerb lud K\u00fcnstler dazu ein, sich mit der Schnittstelle zwischen Kunst, Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft auseinanderzusetzen, inspiriert von der Forschung des LCSB zum Gehirn und zu komplexen biologischen Systemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nach Pr\u00fcfung von 14 hochwertigen Einreichungen w\u00e4hlte die Jury die folgenden Projekte aus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"ulux-list\">\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">1. Preis: Rapha\u00ebl Gindt &amp; Daniel Mac Lloyd, Luxemburg \u2013 <em>Synaptic Bloom<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">2. Preis: G\u00e9rard Claude, Luxemburg \u2013 <em>Research<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\">3. Preis: Anushka Bayens, Belgium \u2013 Microscope Glass Plate<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eWir waren beeindruckt von der Vielfalt und Kreativit\u00e4t der eingereichten Beitr\u00e4ge\u201c, sagte Fran\u00e7ois Valentiny, Vorsitzender der Jury. \u201eDer Gewinnerbeitrag stach hervor, weil er die Arbeit des LCSB deutlich widerspiegelt und gleichzeitig die industrielle Vergangenheit, die wissenschaftliche Gegenwart und die innovative Zukunft von Belval miteinander verbindet. Das Zusammenspiel zwischen dem rostigen Cortenstahl und der farbenfrohen, dynamischen Oberfl\u00e4che f\u00e4ngt die Dualit\u00e4t und Vitalit\u00e4t des Gehirns sehr sch\u00f6n ein. Es war eine \u00fcberzeugende Wahl unter 17 starken Einsendungen.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"ueber-synaptic-bloom\"\n    >\n\u00dcber Synaptic Bloom<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Synaptic Bloom<\/em> der luxemburgischen K\u00fcnstlern <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gindt.eu\/vita\/\">Rapha\u00ebl Gindt<\/a><\/em><em> <\/em><em>und <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/daniellloyd95\">Daniel Mac Lloyd<\/a> ist eine gro\u00dfe Gehirnskulptur aus lokal gewonnenem Cortenstahl. Eine H\u00e4lfte der Skulptur zeigt das rohe, verrostete Metall als Hommage an das industrielle Erbe Luxemburgs und als Metapher f\u00fcr Zeit, Erinnerung und biologischen Verfall. Die andere H\u00e4lfte ist mit lebhaften Graffiti-Mustern \u00fcbers\u00e4t, die f\u00fcr Kreativit\u00e4t und Neugierde bei wissenschaftlichen Entdeckungen stehen. <em>Synaptic Bloom<\/em> wird vor dem Biotech2-Geb\u00e4ude aufgestellt und dient sowohl als k\u00fcnstlerisches Wahrzeichen als auch als symbolische Erinnerung an die Mission des LCSB, die Komplexit\u00e4t des Gehirns zu entschl\u00fcsseln. Die Skulptur wird im Fr\u00fchjahr 2026 installiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eKunst und Wissenschaft teilen eine grundlegende Neugierde daf\u00fcr, wie die Welt funktioniert\u201c, sagte LCSB-Direktor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/lcsb-en\/people\/michael-heneka\/\">Prof. Michael Heneka<\/a>. \u201eDieses neue Kunstwerk wird jeden Besucher dazu einladen, \u00fcber die Komplexit\u00e4t und Sch\u00f6nheit des Gehirns und die Bem\u00fchungen des Menschen, es zu verstehen, nachzudenken.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eEs freut uns sehr, dass unsere Arbeit in einem so bedeutungsvollen Kontext stehen wird\u201c, sagten die Gewinner Rapha\u00ebl Gindt und Daniel Mac Lloyd. \u201eMit <em>Synaptic Bloom<\/em> wollten wir die Idee aufbl\u00fchender Verbindungen im Gehirn und den Prozess der Kreativit\u00e4t in ein physisches und farbenfrohes Kunstwerk \u00fcbersetzen, das Menschen verbindet &#8211; wie auch Neurone im Gehirn miteinander verbunden sind.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Installation wird zu einem bleibenden Symbol f\u00fcr den Dialog zwischen Kunst und Wissenschaft auf dem Campus Belval.
