The event brought together leading figures from the judiciary, academia, and legal practice across Ukraine and Europe to discuss pressing issues at the intersection of judicial reform, democratic governance, and European integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judge Mykola Gnatovskyy, Ukrainian judge at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.echr.coe.int\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Court of Human Rights<\/a>, opened the conference by emphasising the importance of judicial independence and the rule of law, particularly during times of war and institutional transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event provided a timely platform to examine how courts can remain independent while also ensuring accountability and transparency.
