She has written extensively on the principle of solidarity, exploring its normative foundations, theoretical underpinnings, application across various areas of EU law, and evolving constitutionalisation. Her research also addresses the broader societal implications of fostering solidarity through legal frameworks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, she has begun examining the constitutional importance of intergenerational solidarity, particularly concerning climate protection and demographic transformations.<br>In the field of asylum law, Esin has analysed the legal dimensions of temporary protection within the EU, assessing the implications for individuals subject to this regime. <br>Her recent scholarship additionally investigates the use of emerging technologies such as border surveillance and AI based dialect recognition in migration governance, highlighting potential risks posed to fundamental rights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esin\u2019s academic contributions have been featured in prominent journals including the European Law Journal, German Law Journal, and International and Comparative Law Quarterly. <br>She is currently working on a forthcoming monograph titled \u2018European Integrated Border Management and Solidarity: The Limits of Protection Responsibility\u2019, which is scheduled for publication by Hart Publishing in 2026. Esin is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK and a qualified lawyer in T\u00fcrkiye.
