This edition was dedicated to the links between mathematics and Celestial mechanics. On the podium: a 15 year old girl and 17 year old boy, who were offered the calendar \u201cLe calendrier math\u00e9matique 2021: Le ciel dans tous ses \u00e9tats\u201d for their brilliant participation.<\/p><p>Launched in April 2020 by researchers <a href=\"https:\/\/wwwfr.uni.lu\/recherche\/fstm\/dmath\/people\/hugo_parlier\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Hugo Parlier<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/wwwfr.uni.lu\/recherche\/fstm\/dmath\/people\/bruno_teheux\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Bruno Teheux<\/a> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/wwwfr.uni.lu\/recherche\/fstm\/dmath\" target=\"_self\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Department of Mathematics<\/a> at the University of Luxembourg, Astigmath aims to present the modern aspects of mathematics, develop general knowledge, explain major open problems and share passion with others, especially young people, who could have a brilliant future in this field.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-dev4-reusable-blocks-image  object-fit--contain\">\n    \n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-block-image unilux-custom-image-block\"\n                alt=\"\"\n            src=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2023\/07\/hugo.jpg\"\n                srcset=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2023\/07\/hugo-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2023\/07\/hugo.jpg 500w\"\n                style=\"object-position: 50.00% 50.00%; font-family: &quot;object-fit: contain; object-position: 50.00% 50.00%;&quot;; aspect-ratio: 16\/9; object-fit: contain; width: 100%;\"\n        loading=\"lazy\"\n\/>    <\/figure><p>In this edition composed of 18 questions, the participants learned more about the mathematics of space, the history and interactions between mathematics, astronomy and cosmology, and the key problems and findings which are illustrated in the mathematical calendar 2021 \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pug.fr\/produit\/1692\/9782706142741\/calendrier-mathematique-2021\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">Le ciel dans tous ses \u00e9tats<\/a>\u00ab\u00a0.
