They will be representing the students of the Faculty in the governing bodies and committees of the University on a 2-year mandate. Congratulations to both of them!<\/p><p>On behalf of his election, Patrick Leske shared with us his goals and new challenges ahead.<\/p><p><strong><i>What are the reasons you ran for the student elections?<\/i><\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Patrick:<\/strong> \u201cI applied for the post of delegate in order to integrate my professional experience already acquired up to now, particularly in the Luxembourg Army. Before joining the Army, I was an active member of the Board of directors (<i>conseil administration<\/i>) of the Luxemburgish Golf Federation.<\/p><p>I always enjoy facing new challenges and I am also member of CEST &#8211; <i>Cercle des \u00c9tudiants<\/i> of the FSTM. Also, I want to bring my wealth of languages in French, German, English, Luxembourgish and Chinese basics to the Student Delegation, so that we are reachable for the students of the international Luxembourg University in many different languages.<\/p><p>For me it is very important that all the voices of the students are heard in order to improve our University as it is still a relatively young and international University in Europe.<\/p><p>Above all, it is essential for me to inform our students as soon as possible about the changes and decisions from which they are concerned. Keeping a good cooperation between my colleagues of the Student Delegation, the staff members and teachers is my main goal.\u201d<\/p><p><strong><i>What would you bring\/highlight while representing the students of the Faculty at the governing bodies and committees of the University?<\/i><\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Patrick:<\/strong> \u201cGiven the current situation, we are all concerned about a Covid-19 pandemic.
