On Pi Day, the University of Luxembourg is organizing an online event around the Rubik’s cube for pupils – the Rubik Show. World record holder Sebastiano Tronto will show you how to solve the Rubik’s cube. During an international competition he managed to solve the cube with only 16 moves.<\/p>

You will get-to-know some of the maths behind solving the Rubik\u2019s Cube, how it works and see some impressive live demonstrations. Of course everyone is welcome to try it out yourself too! There will be the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the event. And Rubik experts will have a dedicated space after the end of the session. The event is held in English.<\/p>

The event is organized by Prof. Antonella Perucca and Dr. Sebastiano Tronto from the Department of Mathematics (DMATH). It is supported by the DESCOM<\/a> project, a science communication training project at the University of Luxembourg.
