A laboratory where BiCS students and companies can meet and work together. <\/p>\n\n\n

Mission <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We want to provide the BiCS students with the tools they need to tackle their projects. BicsLab offers
them the appropriate workspace and hardware to get rid of logistic obstacles that prohibit them from
working on complex projects. We wish to attract and help the motivated students that want to take part in
bigger projects but are unable to without external help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Companies <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We offer companies the opportunity to collaborate with our students. BicsLab provides a centralized
platform where students and companies can get together; where companies can look for new recruits,
and students can get a taste of real-life work.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n

An industrial partner works together with a
student and a tutor from the University of
Luxembourg on a bachelor semester project
(BSP). A BSP is a mandatory course of the
study programme. During the BSP the industrial
partner can directly influence the project\u2019s
objectives, while the tutor ensures the quality of
the BSP regarding the study programme
constraints. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    An industrial partner works together with an instructor of the
    BiCS programme in a subject of common interest. The development of the project may involve students of the BiCS programme. The work of the students is not constrained by the study programme, and depending on the project\u2019s conditions the student may be paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      BicsLab also welcomes high school students that want to do internships or specific workshops to get familiar with the Computer Science domain before they decide to jump in.
