Data integration and network modelling approaches allow us to extract knowledge from such data and to understand key properties of the biological systems under investigation. We focus on metabolism, gene regulation, and epigenetic mechanisms that determine cell identity and its alterations in cancer, in inherited metabolic disorders, and in neurological disorders.
