Within a single academic setting, we conduct fundamental biomedical and health sciences research, drawing on systems and computational approaches and pursuing therapeutic discovery, with strengths in cancer biology, molecular disease mechanisms, signalling pathways, and practice-oriented research.<br><br>This breadth creates a distinctive academic environment in which research, education, and professional training coexist in close proximity, enabling exchange and collaboration across disciplines. Delivered in a multilingual and multicultural context, the department\u2019s fourteen study programmes prepare the next generation of scientists, physicians, nurses, midwives, radiogologists, and
