school. <br><br>Starting&nbsp;from a problem proposed by a researcher, students work for several months under the guidance of their teacher to propose solutions. They&nbsp; present the outcomes of their research at an annual and international&nbsp; conference that brings together the MATh.en.JEANS workshops of the region.<br><br>The subjects studied often have a playful or exploratory character and take students well beyond the mathematics of the high school&nbsp;
