href=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fstm-en\/research-groups\/nanomagnetism\/\">Nanomagnetism<\/a> group led by Professor Andreas Michels, in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/fstm-en\/research-departments\/department-of-physics-materials-science\/\">Department Physics and Materials Science<\/a> at the University of Luxembourg, <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/li>\n\n<li class=\"list-highlighted__item  wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item\">\n    <header class=\"list-highlighted__header wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-header\">\n    \n<h4 class=\"title text-18 font-bold has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"    >\n<\/h4>\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-bigtext\">\n    <span>\n        \n    <\/span>\n<\/div><\/header><div class=\"list-highlighted__body wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-body\">\n    <div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-free-content-area\">\n    \n<p>Her research is focused on magnetic nanoparticles, with the key goal of understanding magnetic disorder and exploit its potentialities to push the current limits of magnetic hyperthermia in cancer treatments. Her research project, \u201cHYPUSH\u201d,\u00a0 is part of the Young International Academics (YIA) Postdoctoral program, an European postdoctoral programme (Marie Sklodowska Curie COFUND action) hosted by the Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/li>\n\n<li class=\"list-highlighted__item  wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item\">\n    <header class=\"list-highlighted__header wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-header\">\n    \n<h4 class=\"title text-18 font-bold has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"teaching\"\n    >\nTeaching<\/h4>\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-bigtext\">\n    <span>\n        \n    <\/span>\n<\/div><\/header><div class=\"list-highlighted__body wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-body\">\n    <div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-free-content-area\">\n    \n<p>Elizabeth has taught \u201cPhysics II\u201d at the \u201cIndustrial Technology Engineering Bachelor degree\u201d, University of Cantabria, Spain, and supervised 3 undergraduate students, both at the University of Cantabria and Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, in Germany.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/li>\n\n<li class=\"list-highlighted__item  wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item\">\n    <header class=\"list-highlighted__header wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-header\">\n    \n<h4 class=\"title text-18 font-bold has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"outreach\"\n    >\nOutreach<\/h4>\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-bigtext\">\n    <span>\n        \n    <\/span>\n<\/div><\/header><div class=\"list-highlighted__body wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-body\">\n    <div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-free-content-area\">\n    \n<p>Active since 2019 in dissemination activities promoting science.<\/p>\n\n<p>In 2021, Elizabeth launched, together with Dr. Luc\u00eda Gandarias, a Science Dissemination Podcast Program, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ivoox.com\/podcast-mar-ciencia_sq_f11727084_1.html\">La Mar de Ciencia<\/a>\u201d, releasing chapters discussing about Biology and Physics facts, easy to grasp for the broad audience, every second week.
