In the days following the presentation of the national strategy by the Prime Minister last month, the Department of Physics<\/a> hosted a two-day conference titled “Physics for the Future<\/a>.”
This exceptional event highlighted the transformative role of both fundamental and applied physics in addressing major societal and technological challenges. It showcased interdisciplinary advances aligned with key megatrends: Quantum Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing and Data, Health, and Sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking ahead, June will mark the launch of the first \u201cQuantum Breakfast<\/a>\u201d on the 12th, celebrating the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These initiatives reflect a strong alignment and shared vision across Luxembourg and Europe, reinforcing our commitment to scientific excellence and societal impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through active participation in The Guild<\/a> \u2014a prestigious network of leading research universities\u2014 alongside the acquisition of new European projects and preparations for the next round of ERC applications, the University and FSTM continue to demonstrate our ambition and strategic actions to elevate research excellence and impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FSTM Dean\u2019s Office remains committed to supporting this journey by providing high-quality services and fostering an environment of excellence.
